Hands-on practical sessions

  • Editing with the trainer on a previously shot video. Using the tools to prepare a shot line-up, cutting the video in the story format, adding tracks, mixing the video tracks, adding music, mofifying the video and music, using croma key

Dr. Mangesh Karandikar has over 30 years experience in media, with over 15 years in the business of graphic designing, web designing, digital marketing, and corporate films followed by 15 years in the field of media education.
Dr. Karandikar has a doctorate in media and communication and has taught more than 1000 media students the art of sound editing in March - April 2021, more than 200 business people, 150 children, and over 200 educators the skill of filmmaking during this period of pandemic and lockdown, helping them utilize their time effectively.
